Putting forward ideas to be developed at the Jerez Centro de Negocios building in the Jerez de la Frontera business park

• The winner will have the opportunity to start up their business project with the help of the two entities

Today IBERDROLA INMOBILIARIA and the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cádiz (AJE Cádiz) announced the first Launch your business competition, aimed at young entrepreneurs, from both Cádiz and other parts of Spain, who wish to start up their own business in Jerez de la Frontera.

Each of the participants must therefore present a business project which can be carried out at the Jerez Centro de Negocios building. The initial ideas will be presented from 20 July to 23 September, and the finalists must develop their business ideas in detail from 3 October to 7 November.

The winner of the Launch your business competition will be able to implement the winning initiative thanks to the assistance of both entities, which takes the form of a series of prizes:

- Agreement to lease commercial premises in the Jerez Centro de Negocios building for four years with an initial one-year grace period.
- Preparation of the premises.
- Technical advisory services, layout and design of the premises.
- Launch of the business, consisting of an advertising campaign valued at €5,000 plus VAT.
- Legal advisory services provided by AJE Cádiz.
- Free services provided by AJE Cádiz for six months.
- Possibility of accessing a line of credit for young entrepreneurs of up to €50,000 without a bank guarantee, granted by ENISA and managed by AJE Cádiz.
The Jerez Centro de Negocios building, built by IBERDROLA INMOBILIARIA and located in the Jerez business park, is unique and exclusive, being well-equipped and with cutting-edge design. The building boasts more than 15,000 m2 , with two shopping floors and seven floors of offices, together with parking facilities.

This facility benefits from a prominent location within the park, which is characterised by non-contaminating companies, extensive gardens and ample leisure areas. The building is located alongside leading companies from a variety of sectors, such as Gimnasio Activa Club, a social point of reference in Cádiz.

The Jerez business park, located very close to Jerez city centre and only five minutes from the airport, is a pioneer in commercial and business spaces of this type, and has been firmly established as a high-quality development in both the municipality and the metropolitan area of the Bay of Cádiz.


About the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cádiz (AJE Cádiz)

AJE Cádiz is a non-profit and politically independent organisation operating at a cross-sector level across the province. Since its formation in 1996, more than 200 companies have joined the association, the majority being SMEs managed by professionals under 40 years old. The purpose of this association is to represent and defend the interests of the young entrepreneurs of the province, attending to their training, advisory and information needs.

The AJE also currently manages the granting of loans without a bank guarantee arising out of the agreement with Empresa Nacional de Innovación, S.A. (ENISA). The purpose of this financing is to stimulate the creation of businesses set up by entrepreneurs under 41 years old that need loans for SMEs that were created a maximum of 24 months prior to submitting the application. Applicants may receive up to €50,000 without any bank guarantee other than the feasibility of their business project itself. AJE Cádiz has obtained more than €500,000 for its associates from the ENISA line of credit without a bank guarantee, from the Ministry of Industry. Almost fifteen companies, in addition to the other applications yet to be processed, benefited from this line of credit.
